In a most difficult time for our country, you stepped forward to help us fight for real representation in Congress.

The challenges we face will require that each of us commit to helping create a better future for our grandchildren.

I encourage you not to rest in this critical endeavor. We can not afford to return to the failed policies, which have caused millions of Americans to lose their jobs and homes.

I am especially grateful for the opportunity to meet so many wonderful South Carolinians during this time, and proud to stand for your desire for better government.
